Overview:
During my time working in Japan, I served as an in-house costume designer for a live entertainment venue that featured a wide range of performances—from circus acts and comedy skits to Arabian nights and romantic stage shows. This dynamic role required me to design and produce show-stopping costumes that aligned with each performance theme, while ensuring they were durable, comfortable, and adaptable for high-energy stage movement. I was responsible for designing the full costume range, drafting patterns for each performer, custom-fitting every piece to the cast, and sewing the final garments. Additionally, I handled the ongoing maintenance and repair of all costumes throughout the show’s run — making sure every detail remained stage-ready.
